...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH MONDAY EVENING... This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, much of east central New York and southern Vermont. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Hazardous weather is not expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the Internet for more information about the following hazards. Flood Watch. In addition, gusty winds on the order of 30 to 40 mph are possible Sunday afternoon through Monday with a few localized gusts to 45 mph. If confidence increases on higher gusts, a wind advisory may be needed. There is also a chance for rain to end as a period of snow for late Sunday night into early Monday across much of the region with a light accumulation. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotters are encouraged to pass along any rainfall and snowfall measurements or reports of wind damage or flooding to the National Weather Service via email, phone or social media.
