This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for western and north central New York. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Hazardous weather is not expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. A lake breeze will be found east of Lake Erie Saturday afternoon which may generate a few stronger storms with the capability of producing some strong gusty winds and hail across the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes. A cold front crossing the region on Sunday will generate some thunderstorms, some of which may be strong to severe. The main risk with the stronger storms will be damaging wind gusts, marginally severe hail and heavy rainfall. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
