The Storm Prediction Center has placed eastern New York within an Enhanced Risk for severe thunderstorms today, as a strong cold front tracks through the region during the afternoon and evening. The main threat will be damaging wind gusts, although isolated occurrences of large hail are also possible. Thunderstorms may also produce downpours which could result in localized flooding of urban, poor drainage and low lying areas. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
