Near or just above 105 due to temperatures in the mid 90s and dewpoints in the mid 70s for Friday and Saturday. * TIMING...Thursday afternoon and early evening for the Heat Advisory. Friday afternoon into early evening, and again Saturday afternoon into early evening for the Excessive Heat Watch. * IMPACTS...Heat stroke, heat exhaustion and other heat related illnesses will be possible, especially if you spend a significant amount of time outdoors, or are involved in any strenuous outdoor activity. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Reduce outdoor activities, especially from mid-morning through the afternoon. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing and drink plenty of water. If possible, spend more time in air conditioned or well ventilated places. To reduce risk during outdoor work the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency, call 911. This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for East Central Indiana, Southeast Indiana, Northern Kentucky, Southwest Ohio and West Central Ohio. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. Locally heavy downpours could result in isolated instances of flooding through early this evening, especially in urban areas, poor drainage areas and along small creeks and streams. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the Internet for more information about the following hazards. Heat Advisory. Excessive Heat Watch. Heat indices will increase on Thursday into the 100 to 104 degree range, and then rise more substantially toward 105 degrees on both Friday and Saturday.
