This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and early evening across portions of the region. Locally gusty winds and brief heavy rainfall will be the main threats from these storms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will increase across the region Saturday and Sunday, as a series of weak upper level disturbances move atop a very warm, moist, and unstable air mass in place. The shower and thunderstorm threat will gradually diminish from north to south across the area Monday, before becoming more isolated by Tuesday as the upper level disturbance sinks south of the region. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
