favorable for these storms to become severe, with all modes of
severe weather possible. The cold front will advance east on
Saturday, and will continue to focus storms to the south of I-44.
Some of these storms Saturday may become severe during the
afternoon and evening.
Storm chances continue for Sunday and then ramps back up Monday
and Tuesday. Periods of heavy rainfall will be possible with
these storms. The highest severe weather potential is expected to
be on Tuesday, as warm and unstable air lifts back north into the
region ahead of an upper wave.
