This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
AREA...Primarily northeast of a line from Miami Oklahoma to
ONSET...Ongoing...diminishing after sunset.
Scattered storms continue to develop along a weak outflow boundary
that is draped from far southeast Kansas through far northwest
Arkansas. Instability remains high along this boundary, and any
storm which does develop will pose a risk of locally large hail
and downburst winds. Additionally, locally heavy rainfall will
be likely as storms will be slow moving. Storms are expected to
diminish after sunset.
