...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of east central Oklahoma, northeast Oklahoma and southeast Oklahoma, including the following counties, in east central Oklahoma, Okfuskee. In northeast Oklahoma, Okmulgee. In southeast Oklahoma, McIntosh. * WHEN...Until 930 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 629 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Estimates of up to 1.5 inches of rain have already fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected over the area. AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Western Arkansas. ONSET...Ongoing...ending early this evening. HEAVY RAIN. RISK...Limited. AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Western Arkansas. ONSET...Ongoing. DISCUSSION... Scattered to numerous thunderstorms have developed across portions of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas this afternoon. This activity is expected to continue into this evening, and will pose a limited severe wind and hail threat. In addition, locally heavy rainfall from these slow moving storms could yield some localized flooding. Storms will begin to weaken and decrease in areal coverage this evening. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Local Spotter Activation May Be Needed. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. SUNDAY through FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
