This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible tonight across Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, and possibly Northwest Louisiana, near and north of a northward lifting warm front, and upper level disturbance that will eject northeast across the region. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Showers and thunderstorms should begin to increase during the day on Saturday, as a much stronger disturbance aloft enters the region, and reinforces a cold front southeast through the area. The potential for at least isolated strong to severe thunderstorms exist across the region Saturday, as well as the hazards associated with these storms. Much cooler and drier air will settle into the region in the wake of cold frontal passage by Saturday night, through at least early next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
