This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of northern... western...central...and southern Oklahoma...and western north Texas. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight... .Thunderstorms... Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to form this afternoon, with 20 to 30 percent of our area expected to see storms. The stronger storms will be capable of producing very heavy downpours and wind gusts to 50 mph. .Air Quality... An Air Quality Alert for Ozone will be in effect late Wednesday morning and into the evening hours for the Oklahoma City Metropolitan area. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday... .Thunderstorms... Thunderstorms will be possible every day through the upcoming week, with probabilities in the 20 to 40 percent range. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon and evening in northwest and west central Oklahoma. A more substantial threat for severe weather may occur on Saturday, although the exact location is more uncertain.
