.DAY ONE...Through Tonight...
No hazardous weather is expected.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday...
.Heat...
A warming trend is expected over the weekend with triple digit
heat forecast across southwestern Oklahoma and western north
Texas.
.Fire Weather...
Gusty south winds, combined with unseasonably hot temperatures,
and very dry air will elevate the fire danger across western
Oklahoma and western north Texas during the afternoons of Saturday
through Monday.
.Thunderstorms...
Isolated thunderstorms may develop late Saturday afternoon along
a dryline that is expected to be located across the eastern Texas
panhandle or far western Oklahoma and western north Texas.
Any thunderstorms that develop will be capable of producing
damaging winds gusts and perhaps some marginally severe hail. Any
thunderstorms should weaken during the evening with the loss of
daytime heating.
Thunderstorms will also be possible late Monday into Wednesday. A
few severe storms appear possible.
