This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as much of Eastern Oklahoma. .DAY ONE...Tonight. THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. RISK...Elevated. AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and West Central Arkansas. ONSET...Ongoing. POOR VISIBILITY. RISK...Elevated. AREA...Northwestern Arkansas. ONSET...Ongoing. DISCUSSION... Widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms continue across southeastern Oklahoma and west central Arkansas this evening. Additional development is expected to affect mainly eastern Oklahoma later tonight. Severe weather is unlikely with any of this activity. Areas of fog are expected to develop overnight across portions of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Some patchy dense fog is possible across northwestern Arkansas, where clouds have cleared out and where locally heavy rainfall occurred Saturday. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... EXTENDED DISCUSSION... Somewhat drier air moves into the area from the east on Sunday, with lower thunderstorm chances expected as compared to today, especially across northwest Arkansas. The atmosphere will continue to be moist and unstable enough to support low thunderstorm chances across the region each day through the end of next week.
