This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as much of Eastern Oklahoma. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight. THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. RISK...Limited. AREA...Northeast and Far Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas. ONSET...Ongoing. DISCUSSION... A small cluster of thunderstorms is ongoing near the Kansas border in far northeast Oklahoma early this morning. These thunderstorms are expected to diminish through the morning but may leave an outflow boundary for additional development to focus on through the day. Parts of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas will be most likely to see scattered thunderstorms by the afternoon, with more isolated development in far east central and southeast Oklahoma. Organized severe weather is not expected, but the strongest storms could produce gusty winds and locally heavy downpours. Thunderstorm coverage should decrease early in the evening. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. Friday and Saturday should feature the greatest coverage, with isolated to scattered thunderstorms on other days.
