AREA...Northeast Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas. ONSET...Ongoing in Northeast Oklahoma, This Afternoon in Northwest Arkansas. DISCUSSION... Thunderstorms ongoing early this morning across northwest and north central Oklahoma may develop eastward into parts of northeast Oklahoma west of Highway 75 through the morning. Additional afternoon storms are expected in both northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Organized severe weather is unlikely, with gusty winds, small hail and locally heavy downpours possible with the strongest storms. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. EXTENDED DISCUSSION... Daily thunderstorm chances will continue into at least the middle of next week. Saturday remains the day expected to feature the most widespread coverage, with a trend again toward isolated afternoon storms during the early to middle part of next week.
