This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Pennsylvania. .DAY ONE...Tonight. Rain will change to wet snow early this Monday morning throughout the valleys of Central and Southern Pennsylvania, while wet snow of varying intensity continues across the higher terrain. Snow accumulation by daybreak will range from a coating to 1 inch in the valleys to 2 or 3 inches on the ridgetops with elevations higher than 1700 feet above sea level. The snow will result in locally hazardous travel conditions as road temperatures slip under 32 degrees. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Snow will taper to scattered snow showers with little or no additional accumulation after sunrise today. Wind gusts over 35 mph later this morning through this afternoon could blow around unsecured items including holiday decorations and result in difficult driving for high-profile vehicles. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotters are encouraged to report significant hazardous weather.
