...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Pennsylvania, including the following county, Bucks. * WHEN...Until 1100 AM EST. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 724 AM EST, the USGS river gauge at Penns Park remained above flood stage. Water levels will remain elevated through the morning. - For Neshaminy Creek at Penns Park: At 6:30am the stage was 13.7 feet. Flood Stage is 13 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around...don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Portions of southeast Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Delaware, Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery, Lower Bucks, Philadelphia, Upper Bucks, Western Chester, and Western Montgomery. * WHEN...Until 4 PM EST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
