Areas of fog have developed across parts of the Piedmont and NC mountains this morning, some of which have been locally dense. Visibilities of one mile or less will be possible through mid- morning, especially across the SC and NC Piedmont where trends are being monitored for a Dense Fog Advisory. Use caution if you encounter fog while driving. Slow down and leave extra distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed. Use low beam headlights and allow extra time to reach your destination.
