...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected. * WHERE...All of west central Texas. * WHEN...From 11 AM to 7 PM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...West winds may cause dangerous driving conditions, especially on roadways that run mainly north and south. This will include Highways 87, highway 67, Highway 277, and Highways 83 and 84. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central Texas. .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight A red flag warning for dangerous fire weather conditions is in effect this afternoon for portions the western Big Country, western Concho Valley, and Crockett county. Strong dry west winds will bring critical fire weather conditiions to areas that had little or no rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Breezy and dry winds will bring elevated fire conditions this weekend across West Central Texas. Severe thunderstorms are possible next Thursday, with approach of an upper level storm system. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
