This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central
Texas.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions will affect the
entire area this afternoon due to low relative humidity values,
gusty southwest winds, very hot temperatures, and very high to
extreme fire danger. A Fire Danger Statement remains in effect
for the entire area through 9 PM.
Isolated thunderstorms may develop this afternoon along and east
of a Haskell to Sweetwater line.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
Record or near record heat will continue through Friday. Heat
Advisories may be necessary for one or all of these days.
Elevated to critical fire weather conditions will persist through
Friday for the entire area due to gusty south to southwest winds,
low relative humidity values, intense heat, and very high to
extreme fire danger.
