This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central
Texas.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
For this afternoon, even though there are no Heat Advisories in
effect, temperatures are expected to reach or exceed 100 degrees
across central and southern parts of the area. Those who will be
working or spending time outdoors will want to take heat related
safety precautions.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Very hot temperatures are expected throughout most of the area
Tuesday through Friday of this week, and Heat Advisories may be
needed for some afternoons.
Elevated to critical fire weather conditions will be possible
during the afternoon and early evening hours, for much of the area
Tuesday through Thursday, with elevated fire weather conditions
expected on Friday. A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect
Tuesday, from Noon to 8 PM, for the possibility of critical fire
weather conditions across the Big Country, Concho Valley, and
Crockett and Schleicher counties. This Watch will likely be
upgraded to a Red Flag Warning tonight.
