This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southeast New Mexico,
southwest Texas and western Texas.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.
Isolated storms over the Davis Mountains could produce gusty wind
this afternoon.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Slight chance of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon across portions of
the Lower Trans Pecos and Southern Permian Basin. A few storms could
become strong with wind the main concern.
A Red Flag Warning remains in effect Saturday afternoon and evening
across Southeast New Mexico, the Guadalupe Mountains, Culberson
County and the Upper Trans Pecos.
A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect for most of the region Sunday
afternoon and evening. Widespread critical fire weather is possible
Monday.
Hot temperatures of 100 degrees or more are expected across the
region this weekend. Take extra precautions if you plan to spend time
outdoors and drink plenty of water.
