WEATHER ALERT
Issue Date: 941 AM CST Thu Nov 30 2023
Moisture moving into the Panhandles will interact with a cold front later this morning into the afternoon hours. There will be a very fine line from where the rain changes over to snow. Overall most areas will likely see little snow accumulations to maybe an inch. But there is the potential for an area of snow banding that could provide moderate to heavy snow rates of 1-2" per hour over the course of 1 to 3 hours. This could provide the potential for 1-4" of snow in a short time period. Pinpointing the area of potentially heavy snow is challenging, but right now the most favored area looks to be from a Dumas to Sunray to Gruver to Perryton line, and any area within 10 to 15 miles of that line. Impacts may be hazardous driving conditions under heavy snow, as road conditions and visibility would quickly deteriorate.
