This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. Critical fire weather conditions will continue through this evening due to breezy and dry conditions. A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for the entire area until 8 PM. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions may develop Sunday mainly to the west of the Interstate 27 corridor. Near-critical fire weather conditions are possible on Monday afternoon across the far southwest Texas Panhandle. There is a chance of thunderstorms across the Rolling Plains and far southeast Texas Panhandle on Thursday night. Critical fire weather conditions may return to the area Thursday and Friday.
