Scattered thunderstorms will be possible across portions of the
eastern Hill Country, Interstate 35 corridor, and Coastal Plains
today. Across the Rio Grande Plains isolated thunderstorms are
expected. The stronger storms will be capable of producing gusty
winds and locally heavy rain.
Heat index values may briefly reach advisory criteria this
afternoon at a few locations.
