This hazardous weather outlook is for South Texas.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Coastal Flood Advisory in effect today for the Gulf-facing beaches
from Baffin Bay to Port O`Connor. Minor coastal flooding is
possible during times of high tide.
High Risk of Rip Currents for the Gulf-facing beaches of the
Middle Texas Coast today and tonight.
Heat index values of 105-109 expected this afternoon across areas
near and west of I-37, including the inland portions of San
Patricio County. A few locations may briefly reach 110+ across the
southern Coastal Bend.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
Minor Coastal Flooding will be possible at the time of high tide
Saturday along with a Moderate Risk of Rip Currents.
Heat index values of 110+ are expected Saturday afternoon over the
inland Coastal Bend and Brush Country, with values of 105+ possible
Sunday.
Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible over the northern Brush
Country Saturday evening. Scattered thunderstorms are possible
Sunday into mid next week across South Texas.
