This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening for locations mainly east of the Caprock Escarpment. Any storm that develops may become severe, capable of producing damaging winds between 60 to 70 mph, large hail near quarter size, and locally heavy rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Widespread showers and thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rainfall are also expected Wednesday in advance of a cold front. The highest chances will be from the far southeastern Texas Panhandle into the southern South Plains and points east. Some storms may become severe with large hail, damaging wind gusts, and heavy rainfall which may lead to localized flash flooding. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed.
