This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. Showers and thunderstorms will increase across southeastern portions of the region this afternoon and evening. The potential continues to exist for at least isolated strong to severe thunderstorms capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado or two. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Much cooler and drier air will settle into the region in the wake of cold frontal passage by Sunday, continuing through at least early next week. No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
