This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and evening mainly along and west of I-27. Some storms may become severe, capable of producing wind gusts near up to 70 mph, hail to quarter size, and locally heavy rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Severe thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday mainly off the Caprock. The strongest storms will be capable of producing hail up to golf ball size and damaging wind gusts to 70 mph. Very heavy rainfall is also possible which may result in localized flash flooding. Widespread showers and thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rainfall are also expected Wednesday through Wednesday night in advance of a cold front, with the highest chances along and east of I-27. Some storms may become severe across the Rolling Plains and the far southeastern Texas Panhandle, with large hail and damaging wind gusts possible. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed today through Wednesday.
