This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central
Texas.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
For today, even though there are no Heat Advisories in effect,
temperatures are expected to reach or exceed 100 degrees
across central and southern parts of the area. Those who will be
working or spending time outdoors will want to take heat related
safety precautions.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Very hot temperatures are expected throughout most of the area
Tuesday through Friday of this week. A Fire Weather Watch is in
effect Tuesday, from Noon to 8 PM, for the possibility of critical
fire weather conditions across the Big Country, Concho Valley, and
Crockett and Schleicher counties. Elevated to critical fire
weather conditions will be possible during the afternoon and early
evening hours, for much of the area Wednesday and Thursday, with
elevated fire weather conditions expected on Friday.
