This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Light snow showers are possible this morning in the southern Texas Panhandle. A quick burst of moderate snow is possible in this area with accumulations up to half an inch possible. Showers may briefly reduce visibilities. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Rain is likely Wednesday through Friday as abundant Gulf moisture moves into the area. While mostly rain is expected (with localized higher amounts possible), temperatures may cool enough across the far southern Texas Panhandle early each morning to allow for a light wintry mix.
