SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 260 REMAINS VALID UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN TEXAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 12 COUNTIES IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ATASCOSA BASTROP BEXAR CALDWELL DEWITT FAYETTE GONZALES GUADALUPE KARNES LAVACA LEE WILSON THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BASTROP, CUERO, FLORESVILLE, GIDDINGS, GONZALES, HALLETTSVILLE, KARNES CITY, LA GRANGE, LOCKHART, PLEASANTON, SAN ANTONIO, AND SEGUIN.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas.. .DAY ONE...This Afternoon And Tonight. Isolated to scattered storms are possible this afternoon through sunset across portions of the Hill Country and along and east of the I-35 corridor. There is a Slight (Level 2 of 5) risk for severe storms, with large hail and damaging wind gusts as the primary threats. A few storms could also contain heavy rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Very warm temperatures will be returning to the region over the weekend into early next week, and combined with the humidity over the region residents will need to take precautions to guard against heat illness during this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated.
