This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Louisiana, south
central Louisiana, southwest Louisiana, west central Louisiana and
southeast Texas.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
A few showers or thunderstorms will be possible, mainly across the
lower Atchafalaya Basin and the Acadiana region through this evening.
While the probability of any organized severe weather is low, any
pulse type storms will be capable of producing isolated strong wind
gusts or hail. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Tuesday will see rain chances will diminish, with hot temperatures
returning areawide. Daytime highs will be from around 5 to 10 degrees
above normal. Corresponding heat index values will be in the upper
90s to around 100 degrees each day. A break in this weather pattern
looks to develop late Saturday into Sunday.
