This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and
evening, favoring the eastern South Plains into the southeast Texas
Panhandle and Rolling Plains. A couple of these thunderstorms could
briefly become strong and produce small hail and heavy downpours.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Showers and thunderstorm chances will be possible through Sunday. At
this time, it appears the risk for severe weather is low, though a
few stronger storms could produce brief heavy rainfall. Below
freezing temperatures will be possible Friday, Saturday and Sunday
nights with frozen precipitation possible. Little to no accumulations
are expected.
