This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Deep South Texas. .DAY ONE...Tonight There is a Moderate Risk of rip currents at the beaches of South Padre Island and at Boca Chica Beach. There is a Slight Risk of severe weather in the Rio Grande Plains and a Marginal Risk of severe weather across the rest of Deep South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley, with the main threats being damaging wind gusts and large hail. There is also a Marginal Risk of excessive rainfall for the Rio Grande Plains, western Brush Country, and Upper Rio Grande Valley tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Minor coastal flooding is possible Sunday morning. There is a Marginal Risk of excessive rainfall for the Rio Grande Valley and Deep South Texas the next several days. Locally heavy rainfall is possible each afternoon and evening through Tuesday and could lead to nuisance flooding. There is a Moderate Risk of rip currents at the beaches of South Padre Island and at Boca Chica Beach Sunday. An elevated risk of rip currents is possible into early next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed.
