This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of northern... western...central...and southern Oklahoma...and western north Texas. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight... .Thunderstorms... Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to form during the afternoon. The stronger storms will be capable of producing heavy downpours which could produce an inch of rainfall in a short period of time. Wind gusts to 50 mph may also occur with the stronger storms. Precipitation coverage is expected to decrease during the early to mid evening. .Air Quality... An Air Quality Alert for Ozone has been issued for today, June 6th, for the Oklahoma City Metropolitan area, due to expected high concentrations of ozone. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday... .Thunderstorms... Isolated or scattered thunderstorms will be possible from day to day, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. There is a chance for a few severe thunderstorms, especially by the end of the week into the weekend.
