This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Arkansas, southeast Oklahoma and northeast Texas. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. Strong to possibly severe thunderstorms should develop later this afternoon, evening and into the overnight hours across portions of Southern Oklahoma into North Central Texas. This activity may move into the Middle Red River Valley of Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma and Southwest Arkansas later this evening into the overnight hours. Large hail and damaging thunderstorm wind gusts will be the main threats with any severe thunderstorm activity tonight, along with locally heavy rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms will continue across the region Friday, through the weekend and into at least early next week. Some of this rainfall may be heavy at times, especially across the Middle Red River Valley of Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma and Southwest Arkansas during the day Friday, and once again across the region Sunday through Monday ahead of a cold front. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation cannot be ruled out and may become necessary at least across portions of the region later this evening into the overnight hours.
