This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central Texas. .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight A few thunderstorms are possible tomorrow afternoon and evening west of a line from Ozona to Throckmorton. Large hail and locally damaging winds will be the main hazards. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions will be possible Saturday and Sunday due to low relative humidity values, and gusty southwest winds. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed tomorrow afternoon and evening.

...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TO 8 PM CDT SATURDAY... * WHAT...High temperatures 103-106 expected. * WHERE...Fisher, Nolan, Sterling, Coke, Runnels, Tom Green, Haskell, Jones and Taylor Counties. * WHEN...From 2 PM to 8 PM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses to occur. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances. Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When possible reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
