This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas.. .DAY ONE...Tonight. A complex of thunderstorms is forecast to move out of Mexico and into the Rio Grande Plains this evening. In addition to cloud to ground lightning, these storms will be capable of producing hail and damaging wind gusts. Locally heavy rainfall that could lead to flooding will also be possible. Those with outdoor plans tonight near the Rio Grande should closely monitor radar and have a way to received warnings. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Additional isolated to scattered thunderstorms are forecast during the afternoon and early evening evening hours on Memorial Day across South Central Texas. In addition to cloud to ground lightning, a few storms could produce heavy rainfall that could result in localized flooding. Those with outdoor activities planned for Memorial Day should pay close attention to the radar. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated.
