This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
A few isolated thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and
evening across the western Concho Valley and Big Country, mainly
west of a Sterling City to Sweetwater to Haskell line. THese
storms may briefly approach severe levels, with the main threat
being strong damaging winds.
In addition, temperatures will climb well above the 100 degree
mark across the Concho Valley and Big Country. With the threat of
heat related illnesses increasing, a Heat Advisory has been
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions will continue
through the weekend and continue into Monday, as gusty south winds
combine with the temperatures above the 100 degree mark.
