This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. Isolated thunderstorms may develop near the Texas/New Mexico state line this afternoon and track eastward through the evening. A few storms may be severe, producing damaging winds and large hail. These would most likely occur west of I-27/US-87 and end after midnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Severe thunderstorms are possible across much of the region tomorrow through Friday. All severe hazards will be possible including large hail, damaging wind gusts, and a few tornadoes. Heavy rainfall may also result in localized flash flooding. Thunderstorm chances are expected to persist from Saturday through Sunday, with strong to severe storms remaining possible through early next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
