...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected. * WHERE...Crockett, Schleicher and Coleman Counties. * WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 5 PM CDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...West winds may cause dangerous driving conditions for high profile vehicles, due to cross winds on roadways that run mainly north and south. This will include Highways 84 and Highway 277. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects. &&

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central Texas. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Big Country and Concho Valley from late this morning through late afternoon, as strong west winds develop behind a Pacific front that will move through the area this morning. A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for much of the area today, as strong west winds and low relative humidity combine to create critical fire weather conditions. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday The threat for widespread hazardous weather is low. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
