This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central Texas. .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight Severe thunderstorms are possible across the area late this afternoon and evening especially south and west of a Sterling City to Eldorado to Sonora line. The main hazards are damaging winds and large hail. Chances for a tornado are low but not zero. These storms could also produce heavy rainfall over a short period of time. Soils are nearly saturated for much of the area so downpours could cause some localized flash flooding problems. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Scattered thunderstorms will be possible through early next week, which may result in localized flooding. Any thunderstorms that occur will produce dangerous cloud to ground lightning. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will likely be needed later this afternoon and evening.
