This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas. .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight. Thunderstorms may impact portions of Central Texas this afternoon. Evening thunderstorm chances will be within western portions of North Texas, spreading across much of the region tonight. Lightning will be the primary hazard. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Storm chances will increase areawide Wednesday through Thursday. A few strong to severe storms will be possible Wednesday afternoon and evening, with hail and gusty winds the main severe hazards. The heaviest and most widespread rainfall is expected to occur from Wednesday evening into Thursday, and instances of flash flooding may occur. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
