...FLOOD WARNING FOR SNOWMELT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM MDT FRIDAY... * WHAT...Flooding along the Bear River from below Woodruff Narrows Reservoir northward to the Utah/Wyoming line west of Sage Junction, Wyoming caused by snowmelt and reservoir releases. * WHERE...Portions of northern Utah and southwest Wyoming, including the following counties, in northern Utah, Rich. In southwest Wyoming, Uinta. * WHEN...Until 900 AM MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Flooding along the Bear River will continue to impact mainly agricultural areas and low-lying roadways near the Bear River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1007 AM MDT, Gauge and trained spotter reports indicate flooding is ongoing due to snowmelt and reservoir releases. The Bear River is expected to remain high in this area until further notice. - If possible, continue to move livestock to higher ground. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Randolph and Woodruff. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
