.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
A system approaching from the northwest will increase surface
winds across the Wyoming border. Gusty winds along with low
humidities and dry fuels will create critical fire weather
conditions this afternoon across northwest Colorado and northeast
Utah. Thus, a Red Flag Warning remains in effect across these
regions until early evening.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
As the disturbance shifts southeast Sunday, the threat for
critical fire weather redevelops across southwest Colorado. In
addition, a cold front dipping into NE Utah will allow
temperatures to drop below freezing across the Uinta Basin, where
a Freeze Advisory is in effect until Monday morning.
The dry and windy pattern finally looks to end by mid next week
as a system approaches with models hinting at cooler and
unsettled conditions through the end of the week.
