This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
An isolated severe thunderstorm with damaging wind gusts, large
hail and an isolated tornado is possible early this afternoon,
especially across north-east MD. A Tornado Watch is in effect for
Frederick County, VA as well as portions of NE MD, Baltimore
Metropolitan area and eastward until 7 PM EST.
Heat indices in the mid 90s are likely this afternoon, especially
near and south of Washington DC.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
Heat indices in the mid to upper 90s are possible each afternoon
Saturday and Sunday.
Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon and
evening.
