...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM MDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 25 degrees expected. * WHERE...Portions of east-central and southeast Wyoming and panhandle Nebraska. This includes Cheyenne, Douglas, Scottsbluff, Sidney, Alliance, and Chadron. * WHEN...Until 9 AM MDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above- ground pipes to protect them from freezing. &&

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of panhandle Nebraska...east central Wyoming...south central Wyoming and southeast Wyoming. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT Freeze Warnings are in effect until 9 AM Sunday morning. Low temperatures will bottom out between 20 and 30 degrees. Scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms will develop this afternoon. Precipitation will become more widespread this evening. Light snow accumulations will be possible in the mountains, especially at elevations above 7500 feet. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY Cool and unsettled weather is expected to continue Monday and Tuesday.
